I just hit a creative streak and I have really been running with it. I think so far I have made 5 new cards, two pair of earrings, and a bracelet/necklace/earring set. Although papercrafting is my passion, I find that exploring other mediums is helpful in keeping me creative with the paper. I also think I am a tad bit ADD. LOL
Work has been interesting. My boss quit a few weeks ago and we are all still reeling from her departure; for years I kept telling everyone "Once Vickie leaves, this place will go to hell in a hand basket!!" Needless to say, I wasn't exaggerating. Work has been unbearable. My new boss is nice, but it just isn't the same. I go on a few interviews this and next week. It is time to move on.
For me, work is a good challenge, and it pays the bills. Once it no longer is a challenge, it is time to move on. I think that people place too much emphasis on their jobs. I really look at it as nothing more than something I do to get through the day. Paper crafting, however, is my passion. Hopefully someday my passion will turn into my paycheck. Nothing is better than doing what you love.
I just had my first feature on my etsy greetings blog and I am really honored. The hardest thing was picking out what to list. It's kinda neat seeing my work on the front page.
