This week has been a total suck ass week. I was at my best friend's house Saturday night when she got the bad news that her 21-year old niece had passed away. Then when things could not possibly get any worse, my doorbell rings this morning and it's my next door neighbor's daughters coming to tell me that my their mother, my neighbor of over 40 years quietly slipped away. Shit, I need a drink.
Well, I guess my message for the day is this, just love the people you love, and tell them you love them. Tell them daily, and tell them often. Tell them when you are so pissed off at them you want to punch them. But by all means, tell them.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Hope your day is better tomorrow.
Thank you Miss Fashionista for the kind words. I think tomorrow will be a better day, as long as I am blessed with it!
Oh my, I am so sorry to hear of all of this. When it rains, it pours. But to be honest there's alot to be said for non-fluidity, IMHO, lol. I am so sorry this happened.

Thank you PD. I guess I really didn't lose anything, you know? I knew these people and loved them but nothing like the mother who lost her daughter and the daughters who lost their mother. It's weird, cause sometimes when things like this happen, I don't even feel like I've the right to shed a tear. Both were great people, one who earned every year she got and the other gone before her prime. Bleh.
Well I am sure you must have lost something or else you wouldn't feel this way. Sometimes I feel sad about stuff that doesn't pertain to me at all. At least this did pertain to you in some manner. If you feel it, then dont' fight the feeling.

PD, I definitely felt it. I loved both of them but I know you know what I meant. I was so sad for the families.
