Cause you never know

I was working on an order this morning that I need to get out, and while I was, it occurred to me that when I first made this card, I really didn't think anyone would like it. Turns out, it's my best selling card.

I've always liked weddings, so much so that at one time I was an event planner. There's something about whites, pearls and sparkles that appeal to me. I like romantic girlie things. What can I say. I'm a a hopeless romantic.

I wanted to post this because you have to be consistent with what you do. If you make something over many years, make it the same, make it beautiful and make it right.

Funny how things can turn out so different than we expect. When I first started working on opening my Etsy it was mainly crochetwear yet now I've sold quite a lot of bookmarks, but not a single crocheted item. Guess it's the opposite of your story.

Have a nice day!

I originally started out selling baby shower invitations, but found that my greeting cards were selling better so I started making those. I still prefer to make invites, but I am glad to make someone smile with a simple greeting.

Ben, I agree! I think we sometimes just do not give ourselves (or our work) enough personal kudos sometimes. I think part of it is also underestimating our target market too!
